Restored Aeronca 11ACS Super Chief

This aircraft arrived under a ferry permit with very high oil consumption, terrible fabric and finish (duct tape in places), no interior, bad leading edges, etc..  This picture doesn't do it justice.  It's a beautiful aircraft inside and out and was one of our float trainers. We rebuilt the wings with new spars, added vortex generators, made repairs to the fuselage / airframe, built and installed a C85 with the STC allowing the use of an O200 crank and rods, new interior and windshield / windows, and installed a Becker Com and Xponder, starter, battery system with, powder coated control wheels and  instrument panel.

1943 PT19A that served WWII as a trainer for the US Army Air Corp at San Angilo, Texas.  This one has the 200 hp Ranger.  Hope to have it flying early Spring 2011.

1930 WACO RNF with a 125hp Warner.  We're just begining the restoration process. Hope to have it flying in the summer of 2011.
